You can now manage your New Masters Academy membership yourself, from one place. Change your plan, pause instead of canceling, update your profile, manage your Discord connection, and see exactly what you're subscribed to. This article walks through each task step by step.
When you change plans, we credit the unused, already-paid time on your current plan toward the new one, so you only pay the fair difference. You see the credit and the charge before you confirm anything.
Where to start
Every task below begins from the same place, so you never have to type a web address.
- Sign in to New Masters Academy (you're signed in whenever you're browsing courses).
- Click My Account in the sidebar. This opens your account home.
- On your account home, find the plan summary card at the top. It shows your current plan, its status, and your next renewal date.
- Click Manage plan on that card. This opens My Plan, where you manage the plan itself.
Your account home also has quick links to Account Details, Subscriptions, Billing, Billing History, Promotional Code, and Discord (with your connection status shown right there), plus a Back to courses link.
Prefer a direct link? Both of these open immediately while you're signed in:
- Your account home: nma.art/my-account
- Manage your plan: nma.art/my-plan
Bookmark them for one-click access anytime.
How to switch your plan
You can move between Library (the video library) and Library+ (the video library plus 3D models and reference tools), and switch between monthly and annual billing, all yourself.
- Open My Account, then click Manage plan to open My Plan.
- Choose the plan you want: a different tier (Library or Library+), a different billing cycle (monthly or annual), or both.
- Review the summary. You'll see your credit for the unused time on your current plan and your estimated charge today before you confirm.
- Confirm the change.
Most changes take effect right away. A few payment types route through a quick, secure checkout step. Either way, the credit and the math are shown before you confirm.
How the credit works. When you switch plans, we calculate the unused, already-paid time on your current plan and apply it as a credit toward your new plan. You'll see your credit and what you'll be charged today before you confirm anything.
How to pause your membership
Need a break? Pause instead of canceling, and keep the time you've already paid for.
- Open My Account, then click Manage plan to open My Plan.
- Choose Pause.
- Confirm. Your billing stops while you're paused.
- To come back, return to My Plan and choose Resume. It takes one click.
While you're paused, you aren't charged, and the time you've already paid for is saved. Your next renewal simply shifts out by the length of your break.
Pausing. You can pause for a total of three months within any rolling twelve-month period, measured by the actual time you spend paused. You can take it as one break or a few shorter ones, and resume whenever you like.
How to cancel (and reactivate)
- Open My Account, then click Manage plan to open My Plan.
- Choose Cancel.
- Confirm. You'll keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Changed your mind? Return to My Plan before that period ends and choose Reactivate.
Canceling. Canceling doesn't cut you off immediately. You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you can reactivate anytime before then.
How to update your payment method
- Open My Account, then click Manage plan to open My Plan.
- Choose Update payment method.
- Enter your new card or payment details and save.
How to choose which plan you're managing
If you hold more than one membership, you can pick exactly which one you want to view and manage, instead of being limited to whichever the system shows first.
- Open My Account, then click Manage plan to open My Plan.
- Use the option to switch which plan you're managing.
- Select the plan you want, then make your change (switch, pause, cancel, or update payment) on that plan.
More than one plan. If you hold more than one membership, your account lets you choose which one to view and manage, so you can handle each one directly.
How to update your profile and login details
- Click My Account in the sidebar to open your account home.
- Click Account Details.
- Update your display name, email, password, or avatar, then save.
How to connect or disconnect Discord
Connect your Discord account to the private community, check whether you're currently connected, and disconnect if you ever need to, all without opening a support ticket.
- Click My Account in the sidebar to open your account home.
- Click Discord. Your current connection status is shown right there.
- Choose Connect to link your Discord account, or Disconnect to unlink it.
Your other account sections
Everything else is one click away from your account home:
- Account Details: name, email, password, avatar.
- Subscriptions: the full list of everything you're subscribed to, with each one's status in plain language: active, renewing, paused, or ending.
- Billing: your billing address.
- Billing History: past orders and receipts.
- Promotional Code: redeem a code.
- Discord: your community connection.
