At New Masters Academy, cohorts are seasonal support communities created to help students stay on track, stay motivated, and connect with others on the same journey. They are not separate programs or subscriptions—they are an enhancement to your NMA learning experience, available when you enroll in select annual plans.
What Is a Term?
A Term refers to the season and year when a student enrolls—Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall. While all NMA content is self-paced, Terms allow us to group students into shared learning timelines and provide seasonal community-based support.
What Is a Cohort?
A Cohort is a private student group tied to a specific Term. For example, the Summer 2025 Cohort includes all students who enroll in qualifying annual plans during the Summer 2025 Term.
Each Cohort offers:
-
4 Quarterly Check-ins to help you stay on track with your MasterPlan™
-
A private Discord space inside the NMA Digital Campus
-
An exclusive live workshop with an NMA instructor
-
Additional benefits, which may vary by Term (e.g., bonus Tokens, cohort planner, or office hours)
💡 Cohorts are not a separate curriculum or paid add-on. They are a support layer included with annual plan enrollment during the eligible term.
Access & Eligibility
-
You must enroll in an annual plan before the Cohort deadline (e.g. August 31, 2025 for Summer 2025).
-
If you're already a monthly member, you can switch to annual to join.
-
If you're already on an annual plan, you’ll need to enroll again during the cohort window to gain access.
-
Cohorts do not overlap—you can join more than one. Each cohort has its own check-in cycle, workshop, and community.
How Do I Access My Cohort?
Cohort spaces are hosted inside the NMA Digital Campus (Discord). After the enrollment window closes:
-
You’ll receive an email with join instructions.
-
The private cohort space will appear within the Digital Campus.
-
Live event links and check-in schedules will be posted there.
Important Notes
-
Discounts and bonuses tied to a cohort (like Tokens or planners) apply to your first year only.
-
After the first year, your plan renews at the standard annual rate.
-
Cohorts are not academic programs—they are structured communities to help you get the most out of your NMA subscription
